<>~<>WHat kind of Brake Pads should I get?<>~<>
My brakes have been squeaking for a while, I went to Pepboys to check it out and they said I probably will need to replace the brake pads.
I don't know too much about brakes/brake pads, what kind is good?
the ones at pep boys will run around 120 bucks.
what do you reccommend?
do any brake pads come painted red with the s2000 logo on it, i think i saw that before...

Here are some of my personal suggestions:
- I've used Hawk HPS pads before and absolutely loved them. They made no noise, tolerable dust levels, and incredible braking performance compared to stock. They earn my best recommendation for a street driven pad. They need a very brief period when cold to get to full operating temperature, but usually that consists of nothing more than one sloooooww stop while coming to a red light or something. They are also relatively cheap for our car (around $80-$90 for the front). Try them, you'll like them a lot.
- No one makes pads with an "S2000" logo on them, as you'd never see it. I think you might be referring to the logo people have applied to the calipers in which case there are several ways of doing that. For more info or the procedure, just do a search.
Hope this helps.
