Default [Advice please] Idling Problems when Stationary

Hi all,

Wonder if I can tap on the expertise of a global S2000 community to see if anyone has encountered the problem I'm facing now.

Actually it's a two-part problem and I'd post the second part in a separate topic, as I do not believe they are related.

[Setup: F20C, J's Racing exhaust, test pipe, ARC Airbox]

My idling at stationary is around 1000rpm, but once the air con compressor kicks in, it would drop to around 400-600 rpm and thus cause the car to kick into anti-stall mode and shudder violently.

Even without the air con compressor variable, the revs also drop rapidly if the car is revved proportionally ... if it was revved lightly to 3000rpm, the revs will drop to ard 800-900rpm. if it was revved hard to 5000 - 6000 rpm, it will drop violently to ard the 400-600 rpm range.

There is no mechanical problems with the idling valve, TPS Sensor, or the MAP Sensor, as all 3 items had been replaced with new parts and the same symptoms persist.

This occurred AFTER an attempt was made to fit a Speed 70mm Throttle Body and the big TB was removed thereafter, replaced by stock.

Can anyone please share with me a possible next-step in troubleshooting?

Many thanks and much appreciated
