The fork will move around freely when the slave cylinder isn't bolted up.

Not to overstate the obvious but most transmissions have difficulty making the 2 -1 downshift under duress. Have you thought about a synchro issue?

Im gonna crack the transmission open tonight and check everything over.

My clutch is out and I have a few questions though.

Before I unbolted my pressure plate, the throw out bearing had a lot of play in the pressure plate forks. Hence me getting vibration under decelleration.

I unbolted everything and I noticed that my forks on the back side had a "ring/grove" worn in them from the throw out bearing. Im going to go ahead and replace clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and flywheel.

Yes, had this problem as well. I took it into the shop and the clutch was pretty worn out. They dropped a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing in. Now its perfect
