It is well known the S2k is not a "drag car" it is weak off the line. Take a good look at some of the dyno plots people have posted, and you'll see why you are bogging at 4k RPMs. There is no power or tq. there.

Dump the clutch on a Civic or Teg and you'll have the same issue.

However if you bought the car for quick launches, and off the line blasts I think you got the wrong car.

I would not recommend launching any higher even to test it. The local service managers were talking to me about the number of service problems they had with the s2k 2 years ago, and 70% of the major problems were with exploding diffs and smoked clutches.

We all know what causes that on this car.
