I think if given the choice b/w GP White with all red or GP White with all blue, I would have been torn. IMO, the blue looks excellent too. Now GP White with tan/black combo...

I think people tend to think white is a plain, boring color. I think it really depends on what car we're talking about. In my opinion, the white/red is the perfect color for the s2000; the combo suits the car's character very well. I've seen white modenas and C4s, although they look awesome, the color really doesn't capture the cars' spirits very well.

Like ralper said, white does show stain more than the other colors, but it hides swril marks very well! So if you think white is easier to maintain, it really isn't. Yes, it shows less swirl marks and dust, but it highlights stains and dirt. Our family car is black and I don't think it's easier to take care of the white than the black.

White is the official racing color of Honda? is it not? Honda's first F1 car was white.

A lot of race cars are white, just add a few stickers and number and presto you have racing car.

That said, I bought a Spa Yellow.

I would have dearly loved a white S with red interior, but Honda UK do not import the car in white - I went for the Indy yellow Pearl instead. Incidentally, white cars are considered by the motor trade to be worth less than "other" colours here in the UK, hence why ever other car on the road is silver...

The Indy Yellow Pearl could turn out to be a mistake - some tosser nudged the car in a parking bay a week after delivery and a subsequent minor repair has shown that the pearl yellow paint is an utter pig to match.
