Then you get ask for new headlights in a year or so when yours crack I remember reading about how the lamin-x starts to crack your lights after a prolonged period. The sun heats up the vinyl causing it to go through chemical reactions that actually start to split your headlights protective shell as the vinyl basically shrink wraps to it. Back to OP, maybe a headunit they've come down in price a lot of the years.
Had them on my 2008 Civic Si for almost 2 years. Never had an issue. Out of curiosity I did a little research. I found one person has had this issue and cant prove in any way it was caused by the film. Reading 1 thread from some guy you probably don't know doesn't make you an expert. Thanks for the concern...
