^^I dont think you read the previous posts, but that's cruising at 4k in sixth gear, which is the best point if you're cruising in sixth. It has been noted already that he is not getting as much MPG compared to the other members.

Quick question....what size tires and rims do you have?
that guy has been an ass in all the threads I've seen him post in.

To the OP, I get 16-18 MPG in 50/50 city/highway driving. I get on the gas every once in awhile, but not completely into my power band. I've always gotten about 230-240 miles a tank. (I fill up right when the reservoir tank light comes on) I think you're normal ...

let me just put it this way...i can fill up drive 75mph for 100 miles and use about a 1/4 tank....i heard this rumor the s2k likes high rpm on the highway. so i gave it a shot. I drove 90MPH yes 90MPH for 100 miles, I did not even use 1 BAR FROM FULL TANK!!!!!!! So now im firm believer in 5th gear for around 70-80mph and 6 gear for higher speeds to get best mileage.
i go back and fort from vegas to cali every weekend(don't ask...) that's 270 miles one way... 90% of it is desert Hway.. doing 75-90, mostly a little above 80 and i can never reach 25mpg, i've prolly done this 6-8 times already... stock MY07, with correct tire psi(32), maybe more when it gets hotter... what gives??? some say here that our S loves it when you rev it high.. it doesn't seem to work for me... i think our car has enough torque(sound wrong huh?) that i can still maintain speed(of not pull) if it has a 7th gear running at around 3,000 rpm doing 80mph...

you cannot gauge gas mileage by looking at the electronic readout on the dash. that is the most absurd thing ever. best way: fill up car, reset trip meter, drive until close to empty, refill, count the number of gallons you filled up and divide it into the total number of miles you drove.

not....fill up, drive 100 miles, watch one bar go down and think you're getting 72mpg....it doesn't work that way on any cars.

my gas light comes on with 1 or 2 bars left, and i have zero bars within 10-15 miles. when i immediately fill up, the pump auto-stops at about 11 to 11.5 gallons. it's a 13.2 gallon tank, so generally, the light comes on and you have 2 gallons remaining. i've found that this is the case with 3 hondas that i've owned.
