Are you a snob?

i am super snob. the only reason why i drive an s2000 instead of a new (insert snotty accent) porchee is because my rich aunt thinks a 996 is too much car for me, so she got me the S. then i cussed her out about how she got me the lame base level S and not the CR. my dad then told me to check out this s2ki site and learn more about my car and stop being mean to his sister.
all i have learned is that i'm still better then ALL of you because i could be driving a car thats 10x costlier and 10 times faster and 10x cooler then a honda.

I once tried to approach a guy on the street about his Lotus. He just looked the other way.
When I pulled around the corner with my S, he couldn't keep his eyes off of it.
The s2000 based is actually pretty big in Lexington, Kentucky. There are about 10 of us "extreme" enthusiasts. We always welcome new interest.

Every day during the convertible season, I pass two other S2000's in the parking garage on the way to my spot. I don't know how many more there are, just that I pass 2 every day.
My own personal favorite was a conversation with a yuppie (that's "young urban panty-waist") who told me that my S2000 wasn't really a sports car. I suggested we talk about something he understood better, and mentioned a couple of minivans. He insisted that he'd never drive a minvan, he preferred a "Soccermom Urban Vehicle." And of course, an S2000 is slow because it has "only 153 ft-lb of torque."

What I love about our S2000 is that it's _not_ a poser. Nothing fake on it or about it...nothing "frilly" or unnecessary...just the basics...what's real.
Oh...and is it painty?? Or panty??

I try not to be too snobby to people. I think of myself as a pretty relaxed person. I'm a wise ass when called for, as many of us are. If the conversation comes to someone bashing the S2k for make "153 foot pounds of tq" or something ridiculous (even not car related) I would probably shut them down.
