You scared me :P
You guys always say the back end comes out and i have pmed a few of you. Well i got an s and i was to scared to take it the speed limit around some bends .. I need a little better clarification. The speed limit was about 70 around these bends and semis were passing me cause i was scared .. I just want to be assured i can take the speed limit around turns and not worry.

If semis can do it, then you can too.
The S2000 is a slightly tailhappy car, but it doesn't need to be like driving Miss Daisy. If you stay within the speed limits and use good judgement and common sense, then you can drive this car just like any other car.
If you are unsure, just start off a little slow and then when you get the feel of the new car take it up to normal speed.
And if you REALLY want to know how to drive this car, then sign up for a high performance driving school.
Be careful in the rain though!

I always drive the S at or a bit above speed limit around bends and I have yet to make the "end come out." I guess it's just a warning to noobs. If you're not truly comfortable with driving stick yet, don't keep your foot on the pedal. Just be careful with the S, man.

Im pretty comfortable driving it. I had an rsx-s before. But every ware i look their are many many warnings about the back end coming out so it has me a little scared or rather has given me a very healthy respect for it lol. semis were smoking me for 700 miles all the way back not to mention the odd mini van driver whom i think was a bet jealous of me some would pass me going 100mph

To me it has a lot of body roll in the rear, and that made me uncomfortable in the beginning. You can slide it a good bit, and recover very easily. There is a point of no return though. Do a track day, that's the safest way to know it's limits. It will handle a lot better than you think it will. Just don't panic and hit the brakes while turning like a lot of people do. If you enter a turn too fast it's better to gently roll off the gas, and let the back slide a little than to hit the brakes. If you hit the brakes you'll shift weight off the back tires, and you will go around.
