Offer the dealer $30k, I bet they sell it...even though its not worth that either.
If u knew the S2k game, you would know that it's not worth $30k either.

All u have to do is a nationwide search for low mileage S2ks. A low (10k and under) mileage CR is probably $40k MAX.

Here is a "highly desirable" 2003 GPW with 11k miles for $22.9k

If I had the money and time I'd be hoarding every one I could get with 4 digit miles.
I'm hoarding one with 4 digit miles but that will only hold until maybe next year. Kudos to the original owner for having the self control to drive it less than 800 miles a year. I don't know how he did it.
I'm currently sitting at 9,500 miles on my 2005. I won't be in 4-digit miles much longer.

I'm not sure how my car could be worth $30k. $70k is a joke. I bought it two years ago from an Acura dealer with only 6,800 miles - for $24,500. It's stock and mint.

I don't understand why everybody is belly aching about this premium price. If the dealer gets it we'll all be tap dancing in the streets for the bump in value for our own cars

Agree. I like when I hear stories about S2000's going for a lot of money. Good news for all of us who already own one.

Why would it be worth more than the 900 mile s2k that went for $29k on BaT not too long ago? Hell, there was a 10k mile car with a hardtop that went for $25k right before that one. I paid $24.5 for mine with 8,100 miles a few months ago and I thought that was a tad high but it was local and I got to drive it and meet the owner instead of dicking with buying one out of state. $30k is high.

It never will regardless of how low the mileage may be but there are always dreamers.

It's got to be a tactic from the dealership and sales manager.
Some uninformed buyer comes in and buys it for the list price (if anyone is ever that naive), the sales man makes enough commission to buy a brand new Honda Civic for himself. If not, they give 55% discount and tell the customer they got one heck of a deal?
Either way, they're on a good one! Real good one!

For that money, you can buy a pop-up NA2 NSX with reasonably low miles. That is all.
