I'm hoarding one with 4 digit miles but that will only hold until maybe next year. Kudos to the original owner for having the self control to drive it less than 800 miles a year. I don't know how he did it.

That "KBB Best Price" or whatever sheet makes me so angry. I work at a dealer, and I know all the customers who would believe that fraud.

I'm all for appreciating super clean, super low mileage cars, but for Pete sake's,our cars were meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Driven and enjoyed while taking the best of care it deserves !

IMHO of course !

They need to employ the Enthusiast Auto Group strategy and lock up all the desirable low mileage ones before they can go full retard on pricing.
If I had the money and time I'd be hoarding every one I could get with 4 digit miles.

Offer the dealer $30k, I bet they sell it...even though its not worth that either.
It's worth 30. 30k is nothing to a lot of people and there are only so many truly mint cars out there. That said, driving it is going to reduce the value but thats a whole other discussion.
This car is not worth 30k. Around 17k is a reasonable market price for a low mileage AP1. We're not talking pre-owned 993s here.

I recently bought an 02 with factory hardtop and 8500 miles for 21K. I think 17 would be very low price in current market. Might be wishful thinking I suppose. But that is what I have been seeing.

Of course, I love driving the darn thing so much I find myself putting miles on it. I've had it a couple of months and its up to 12K. I'm sort of hoping that this is new buyer syndrome and that I'll slow down a bit in the coming years. But is it not truly "mint" and so this one will be a driver for me. I have considered buying a 4 digit example to put away for a rainy day.

Dealership is on crack. This car will never appreciate in value double what it was worth new. My dealership had a 2001 one owner black ap1 with 6200 miles and we actually shipped it to Norway for $22000 a few years ago. Car sat at my dealership for about 5 months with no interest at all with a sticker price of $25k till our wholesaler found a buyer overseas for us...

I don't think I've ever seen one listed this "high" in price!

Wow, I have a 2003 with 20k miles and a factory hard top. I wonder if I can expect $200k from that?

How does an ad title of "2003 S2k, straight up trade for 458 Italia" sound?
