Coming home from a Porsche club event yesterday, my wife driving, we were passed by a Suzuka Blue S2000. I rather thought she'd have liked it, not being as bound as I am to bright colors.

All she said was "I'm not so sure I like the car in...

...wait for it...

periwinkle".

Ouch. Just as well she's not in charge of naming colors for Honda.

Periwinkle is a Miata color, right?

I've noticed that Suzuka blue's, on average, are in better condition compared to other colors just based off the ones I've seen listed. I think the color is appealing to the older demographic, which could explain why they are cleaner.

For me, the exterior color is meh. It's the all-blue interior that I can't get over.

What, no love for the Suzi Blue crowd? Actually, my wife isn't a fan of Suzuka blue either. At least it lets me keep looking for another S2K in a different color.

Suzuka always reminds me of an 80's Porsche 911 color, which looked good to my eyes.

Mazda's "Smurf Blue" looked way better on their cars than that Suzuka blue does on ours IMO.

Blue was the one color I refused to buy an S in. Especially with that gaudy blue interior... Eugh. Sorry to anyone who may own one, it's just not my cup lol. To each their own

I don't really like it either. The color is just kind of neither here nor there. Like it's afraid to stand out but not quite a color that blends in like silver or white. The blue interior is pretty gross too.
