what would i have done to get yellow..... *sigh* yellow.. it's classic fast high profile car color.. my self for one would love to have purchased the spa yellow color.. but dealer said the silverstone was the last car they're getting nevertheless, even if your S2k was DODGE NEON GREEN it would draw attention. just use it man, I love attention! In my humble opinion yellow really highlights the classic design of the S2K roadster. Don't get me wrong - this car looks great in any color - but clearly yellow is the most attention getting and head turning color. Turning heads is fun especially when it is young female heads
It is very high profile but if you are prudent and reasonably cautious about where you park you should not have any problems.
Good luck

I think a more important question would be Does the yellow attract more attention FROM THE POLICE? The old adage of If ten cars are speeding, which one gets the ticket? The answer is The Red one. It may be that the new answer is The Yellow One.

All the colors are cool, I just happen to be partial to the blinding loud yellow one.

Yellow does stand out (having had an NSX in the same yellow as my current S2000) but I think the car is a bigger factor than the color in most cases.
But get a color that you like because you like it - not because of what others think.

Well, I've been pulled over twice in my red S2000 and not at all in my yellow S2000, so go figure. Knock on wood.
I wouldn't worry about the extra attention the yellow might give you. I love it. Yes, I get both positive and negative attention, more in the yellow than I did in the red, but its fun. I don't regret it at all.
