Default A year and a day in the life of my S2000

I've owned the car for 1 year a 1 day and I'm as satisfied as the day I bought it. I have drive the car 97XX trouble free miles. I have never had any of the problems that are often complained about. I have never had to add more than 1/4 qt of oil (once) in the 1st 7000 miles. My experience with my local dealer could not be better. They still give me free oil changes.

Highlights:
1. 980 mile (13 hour drive time) trip to FL Keys - averaged 31 mile to the gallon - 77 mile per hour
2. Attention...Attention...Attention
3. Entered Import Car show on a whim and won 3rd place, go figure.
4. Top down nighttime drives
5. One surprised 03 Mustang GT driver
6. I feel like James Garner in "Grad Prix"

Low:
1. Winter (I don't drive it)
2. My wife hates it

All and all I would say it's not a car for everyone. But for the few who understand what it was made for and drive it like it was meant to be driven, it the most connected I've ever been driving a street legal car. It's like driving a go-kart on steroids. I sometimes look for reasons to go and put 30 more miles on it.

Thank you Honda

We had an accident a year or so ago and the small size scares her. Upside is she never wants to drive it. Downside is we don't go on very many long trips in it.

NOTE: Accident was in a Jeep TJ.

Nice ride!! I'm glad my wife likes mine, eventhough she can't drive stick, she even likes the sound of the Invidia exhaust. Makes for nice long drives!

I agree with you 100%!
My wife says her 4runner has a better ride!!!!
She asked to drive it last week, but couldn't find reverse to get it out of the garage!!! I told her she can't drive it if she doesn't know how!!!!!!!!!
