Sorry, but can't agree with you guys on the delay with the DBW. My 06 is just as responsive as my 03 that I traded in.

Coming from someone who currently has both cars, I disagree. I could tell with a blindfold on and so could the passenger if they paid attention. My '08 has a delay in the throttle driving around town with partial throttle applications, my '05 doesn't. It feels like a real quick fuel cut followed by acceleration. Happens at least once every time I drive it. The '05 is responsive in all situations. Other AP2 v2s feel the same way to me.

I can deal with the problem though and still love driving the car. Hope this helps ebbai!

I must add that I'm getting much better mpg out of the '08 though!
The 08 with the HT, better flowing mufflers, and lighter weight will certainly help with that..

Honestly, as the S got "upgrades" it got a lot softer and more "DD" friendly. So you should base your decision on that- but if you want GPW, go for it because everytime you look at the photos on this board, you'll always regret it.

I'd go with the 06-08. Having a throttle cable is nice and all, but having the extra safeguard of VSA is worth it in my opinion. You can disable it with the press of a button and the more important question is "why not?"

DBW makes more power stock!!! I made 240whp on Giles Dynopak while other AP2V1 made 230-235whp.

DBW will not affect hp or anything for that matter. I guarantee you if I made you drive 2 cars you will not be able to tell which one is DBW. Anyways I would choose the 04-05 since the 06-07 wheels are the ugliest things...
