I used many of his DIYs on my car and when searching, many of my questions were answered by his posts.

Tis' a sad day definatly. You'll be missed X. I got a lot of help from all your how-to's and for that I thank you. Hell I even liked your "attitude" as some as said

Unfortunatly, as the price of the s2k goes down, many imature idiots will start flocking these forums (as they are doing now). More and more crashes, idiotic people asking the same thing 30 times, etc.

People like hpark. A complete tard who doesn't know a thing about s2ks. Chances are he just bought one and will crash it in a few days. Oh well. Go back to your riced out civic or whatever pos you drived before you came here.

I hope more intelligent people come in your wake...doubtful though

As a SoCal owner and newbie I only wish you would reconsider.
You are a valuable asset to this community and have helped me understand my car and how it works.
And while you may not like this I have met this guy that you have exchanged comments with and he is a regular guy.
You both seem to be good people.
Please stick around - we need and appreciate you.

Xviper,

From one "old" guy to another, please don't make any decisions while you're upset...whether it's quitting the forums or "punching out the guy that just cut you off."
After reading the threads I think things were blown way out of proportion...I'm not sure why things went nuclear???
But, I think it would be a shame if you or DB8 dropped off because of this. We (you included) take much enjoyment from the cars we own, but perhaps more from the S2ki community. Sleep on this one and make your decision in a day or two...I think no matter what your decision, you'll be more content you didn't do it in the heat of the moment.
With age comes experience. With experience comes wisdom. With wisdom comes patience....

Yes, I love a community so much to leave over a total internet stranger. Sticks and stones...

not bothered at all...this is an online forum, seriously who cares? I've read through some of the threads linked by the OP and IMO I feel X was out of line with all the swearing and name calling.....honestly why get so worked up when it doesn't even affect you? Have DB8 sell whatever he wants for whatever price he wants...he can sell drawings made with authentic brake dust for $100 and if people want to buy that more power to the buyer and seller......
