I dunno, if this happened to anyone. I was driving on the highway and stick the car into third gear. The RPM is just below 6K. When my heavy right foot kicks in, the VTEC won't engage until 7K. @ about 7500RPM, VTEC is GONE. and, it comes back up @ 8K again. It is really weird. I repeat it several times, and it behaves the same. On-Off-On-Off.

I have checked the oil, it is at the 2nd X from the top. Does anyone know what happen here? I am definetly going to bring the car in on Monday.

Sounds like the MAP sensor. Pull it off, tap it and reinstall.

Take it to the dealer and let them replace the MAP sensor. Same thing happened to me and I put it off for a few days, having done the tap and reinstall thing on the MAP sensor. A day or two later, it TOTALLY crapped out, luckily for me within a few blocks of my house. I had to have it towed in

I really wanted to put a cover on it for the flat bed journey to the dealer to deflect the nasty, Camaro-driver remarks...

The point here is that you can put it off, but it might result in your getting stuck somewhere, waiting on hold for AAA to answer your call!
