Default WTF!

Okay so after searching around I find a lot of people on here that complain about rattling or noise of seat rubbing and such but no on really had or has a fix for this rattle from the top. I've moved the seat hell removed the seat, fasend the seat belt and all kinds of stuff, and yet my top still rattes. Just started about a week ago. Theres about 75,xxx miles on my s2 and I would like to know if anyone else has some ideas before I go have my wife drive it over bumps while i fondel my top.

you have a convertible, these things rattle from time to time. I don't even notice it as much anymore. It will probably stop when it gets cold again.

Isnt there something about hard top strikers that'll fix a rattling top?

Couple of things to do -

Your strikers may be worn, get new HT ones or put fish tank tubing on the hooks

Get a flat fridge magnet, cut four strips, drop the latches, look up and insert them in the gaps on each side, two on each latch. That will keep them from moving and rattling. Big difference and easy.

Check if everythings tight then put some grease on areas of the top that may need it

You didn't search hard enough. Additionally you didn't specify where the rattles occur.
