S2000_Europe, I've thought about that too. Here in Portugal, the S costs 45.500 Euros!
There are some problems to be solved:[LIST][*] IVA (VAT) has to be paid anyway (Your country's IVA).
[*] Here in Portugal, there

- IVA is 16.5%
- Homologation is not very expensive, Every car must be
homologated even if you buy in Germany
- Rear fog lamp in not a problem
-its 2.2L but the rest of the parts are the same. Buy part in US is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT cheapper brake pads cost in Spain $180 and in USA $100.
I bought part form hardtopguy and I save almost 50% o the price and takes the same time to get delivery
the other day one of the clamp of my hardtop broke.
Prices in Spain $350 plus one week of waitng
Hardtopguy $250 shipped one week

what about warrantee? I bet you'll loose it.
I have a friend here and we are thinking the exact same thing: Buy 2 S2000 from US or even from Japan.
I've found something about buying from the Netherlands or some other European country with large taxes. In these countries the base price (price without taxes) is lower. Then you apply Spain taxes over this base price and end up with a cheaper S2000.
EDIT: Base prices in these countries are lower to keep a competitive final price.
