Default Wrecked S2kq

Man, what a night. I was coming home. I over reved the car in second and hit a dumpster on the side of the road. My tires were still slightly cold and the ground was not as dry as I thought. I feel so mad at myself right now for underestimating the car's full potential and realizing ultimately it is my fault. The damage is bad but it can be fixed. Just want to tell everyone remember don't underestimate the car and be wary of winter conditions. Those S02's are not to be played around with. I am so mad I might post pics later but frankly I am just so depressed right now. I am sure everyone knows this but incase there is anyone feeling over confident in their car, be careful before it is too late.

Hi Lefty,

First, sorry to hear about your accident. The important part is that you're Ok. The car, at least, can be fixed.

Second, yours is the first post of this kind that I've seen in a "very" long time where the driver didn't try to blame the "car" and/or the "tires" for the accident. It speaks volumes toward your integrety. I'm impressed!

I hope the damage isn't as bad as it looks, you get her fixed up pronto, and have many great miles together!

Best of luck,
Steve R.

actually, i think you OVERestimated the car's full potential, and not UNDERestimated.

anyway, sorry to hear about your car. i had a similar mishap last year around this time. i hit a wall instead of a dumpster...

Sorry to hear about your accident. I know the feeling well - I had an incident involving a little bit of gravel and some railroad tracks . . . and a LOT of driver stupidity. Didn't actually hit anything, but there's plenty of damage from propping a lowered car up on a iron railroad tracks. Thankfully there were no trains coming. Perhaps the worst feeling I have ever felt short of family deaths.

Anyway, glad you're ok and good luck with repairs.
