Default wow first time in snow/ice

The Louisville area got hit with a big ice storm last week, and under normal conditions I would not be driving my car, but I had a hot date so i deceided to anyways. WOW..talk about scary. It took me 25 minutes to get up this tiny hill in my neighborhood, not to mention the the constant sliding everywhere. At one point on a flat road I didnt think I would be able to get moving. Anyone have similar experiences?

Tons of people.
Don't drive on snow or ice with S02's.

Ummm, yeah, probably everyone in the country who lives non-tropical regions of the country, which is a rather large portion of it.

seriously! MANY people on this board have wrecked their cars in seemingly safe conditions. It appears the S02's are simply VERY DANGEROUS when it's below 40F and there's anything at all on the roads!

Well ive never EVER driven mine even in the rain, so this was all new to me. I guess i was just overwhelmed by the total lack of control, not to mention scaring the shit out of my date

Does the so3's pole position have the same problem??
I had these on my BMW and they seem to work will in rain and minor snow. Better then the Michelin Pilot Sport that were on it from factory.

Nope never heard of such problems ...My SO2's are awesome in the snow ...I get tons of traction with this "Summer Only" tire here in Utah, must be driver error.

So much for the sticky at the top "S2000 Talk"
