You are right.. I know my reply seemed like an oxymoron.

But I would still want the freedom of a convertible.

What I meant by that post was if the "S" was only offered in coupe I wouldn't have been as satisfied as I am with the convertible.

This is a great point, and probably what I was trying to get at. If I wanted a S2000 coupe, I would have purchased a used NSX with low mileage for about $40,000
