I remeber back then actually thinking of some device like this and now is my first time running into it on ebay. Its a add on to your exhaust system to flunctuate the air flow through your pipes which can also lower the noise level. Have you ever thought of puttin one on? here is the link

Ya, I've thought about it and probably will add that later on down the road. There are a few guys already running those. It offers the best of both worlds for us FI guys... Quiet around town but flip the switch and you have 20+hp.

I think that those are good for FI as far as dump tubes go to make the exhaust louder and to open it up, but I wouldn't use that inline with my exhaust to choke off exhaust flow.
