WOuld you consider buying a 100K mile s2000? Service records are a must and no rust. How long does the clutch last? I know these motors can run for 250k300k miles if properly serviced. I am torn between getting another to DRIVE vs a low mile car that I won't want to drive. I have had an 03 and 05 both with over 60k miles and drove the shit out of those cars. Just seems like anything below 40k miles are getting crazy money right now. All these stock market millionares inflating the market.

I have done it and still own it. Bought at 103,000 miles, have tracked and autocrossed the crap out of it since, 162,000 now. No plans to stop taking it to the track.

Clutches depend. If any hard launches are done on it, due to the high RPM nature they put tons of wear on it. If driven well on the street only, they wont last as long as a lot of more torquey cars but can last quite a while. Low tq cars require more rpm to take off and thus a bit more clutch slippage as a result.

My last clutch I think gave out on me with about 40,000 miles on it. But, for a while I was autocrossing a ton and hard launching it, then when it failed it actually still had life on it. It fell apart on track one day, friction material started breaking off the disc which is not a failure I have heard of much on these

Why do you want one NOT to drive?
I'd buy one to drive, regardless of miles. If I bought a 1 mile one...I'd drive it.

Yes, I would buy a 100K mile S2000. Why not?
Clutches usually last 100K miles or so...but that heavily depends on how it was driven.

I just bought a very low mileage one and I have put over 1,500 miles on it in just over a month. I get not wanting to drive a low mileage one, but it is just so enjoyable I cannot stop driving it.

Yes I would buy a high mileage S2000. I bought my AP1 with 30K miles on it and have it up to 50K with 6 track days. The cars are strong if you take care of them after driving hard.

No doubt. I'm at 192k now and no issues. Just love driving it
