Default Would you believe 212 horses on a bone stock 2001?

Just had my MY2001 on a dyno this afternoon and could not believe what I got. First run was 208.08 hp with 134.85 lbs of torque. Did 3 more runs with the last one coming in at 212.99 hp with 138.50 lbs of torque. As soon as someone tells me how I can get the dyno sheets posted up here I will be more than happy to do so.

I was expecting to get maybe somewhere between 190 and 200 hp. Imagine my surprise.

I look forward to hearing from someone as to the posting of the dyno sheets.

Thanks

Usually you will lose around 16 - 18 % through the drive train and spinning the wheels.

Some members posted Dyno results from low 180s to mid 190s after replacing the throttle body or installing a CAI or both.

Stock S2000 after break-in, from what I remember produce around 204 to 208 hp at the rear wheels.

212.99 hp

It was on a Mustang Dyno that the owner had just recently recalibrated using three cars that he had run on a friends Dynojet machine.

I actually got 213.22 hp at 136.72 ft-lbs of torque, but could not get a good scan on the dyno sheet because of some very light printing, so I was going to go with the 212.99 number which I could prove with a good sheet. Some people get touchy abut the numbers if you don't have the paper to verify it.
