and yes, i know i could get a new civic at ~$250-300/mo if it was really stripped, but i would prefer to load it or get an si if i saved by getting civic; as mentioned i want it for a long term.

i agree with a lot of the people on here. the m3 and the s2k are two different cars and its really just your personal preference and what you need out of it.
imho, the s2k is more of a driver's car and the m3 can be used more for luxury.
and as far as the m being a bigger chick magnet..i think the driver has a lot to do with it too.

I went from a 1999 E46 328 w/ the sports package and a five speed manual to a 2005 S2000. I thought I would miss the gobs of torque available low in the BMW. Both are super cars to drive and lots of fun. If you have a need to carry more than one passenger go with the BMW, if not, S2000. The S pulls alot harder down low than I thought it would, and when you hit 6200, ahhh, how sweet it is. Be very appreciative that you have this option.
