Thanks everyone. I decided to just go with an older model. I bought a 2002 for only $22.5K with 15K miles. I couldn't pass it up.

Yeah, congrats you made a good financial choice. Unlike my stupid self who got bushwacked by an 04 S2K at the local Honda dealership last weekend. I knew I should have walked away and looked for a better deal but I just couldn't do it. Call me weak - I deserve it.

I love the extra power down low but it's probably not worth the extra $10k over a nice 02. The purchase price on my lease was $32 btw.

Have fun!

I picked up my S2000 this past weekend. I got it for 30200 plus sales tax. The dealer had 5 on the lot, and I guess they were anxious to get rid of one. They actually took my offer without any haggling. I guess I got lucky of finding one at the right time and place...

Thanks guys, this is great information. I'm going to test drive an 04' this afternoon after I leave work. This will give me pretty good leverage, and the confidence to haggle with them if we progress that far. I'm thinking about buying another 2003, but I want to go take a serious gander at the 04' first before making another decision about an S2K.
