Would this be considered road rage or animal instincts?

350Z's have SUCH a cheap interior, I don't even consider the car worthy of my time. I recently instructed at an autocross novice school and had the opportunity to drive a 350Z. There were pieces of the dash not fitting right and were loose with only 8k miles on the car!
Granted, the torque was great, but the car felt heavy and piggish around the cones. I actually drove the car at 9/10ths and could only get within 2 seconds of the time I drove my own S2k on that same course.

If you don't think they are fast then you are not driving them correctly!

Try using the proper terms....they may not be QUICK cars, but if driven properly they sure are fast around the track.
By the way...try thinking about something other than a straight line, this car was made for the twisties!

For some odd reason, while I'm driving and I come across a 350z, I feel like trouncing it. I don't know what's wrong with me. One minute I'm driving all happy, whistling, hell even listening to George Michael. Then as soon as I see a 350z, I get pissed for some reason and George Michael's voice starts sounding like something out of Pantera. Should I get some counseling or is this a natural instinct, like a dog chasing a cat?

Everyone has an opinion about what is fast or not to them. I can respect that. I remember my '88 Pontiac GTA 350 was a mid 14 second car back in the day ( high school). I thought it was fast at the time. Now we have a normally aspirated 4 banger that can kick its arse stock, changes my opinion about my beloved GTA. Who knows, in 10 years from now, 12's might be slow too. Gotta love technology!!!!
