Whoa, that must have been some impact. Aside from a need rim, you might want to check the suspension components to see if they were damaged by the impact.

yeah you might want to get an alignment after everything is repaired, your alignment is probably out of wack.

Probably? More like, most defiantly. A pot whole will through your alignment out of a wack, a smack against the curb probably throw it off by a Degree or more.

Wow, your lucky he's actually going to pay for it.. Since his car didn't actually hit your car, it would be harder to pay out, unless he cooperating.

I had my car 2 months and got hit head on by a drunk driver. It cost me over $13,000 to fix the car and the insurance wouldn't total it out, so now I have a car that I can't get out of because it's been in an accident and had to get on the frame straightner. Consider yourself lucky.
