This article makes me wanna go to the closest Mitsubishi dealer and have then persuade me how the eclipses in their lot are better than my S. Oh and "we sell more of them" is not a viable answer...Just to see what they say.

I bet if I take that article to the Mitsubishi dealer even they will laugh at it.

Surely it would be more appropriate to Compare the Eclipse with Honda's (Acura) Integra Type S?

Both FWD mass produced semi-sports coupes. Bringing RWD roadsters into the comparison in frankly bizarre.

Don't get excited. The S2000 is a niche car and is not for everyone. It won't be appreciated by general news outlets like Yahoo, Consumer Reports, etc.

Mitsubishi will be lucky to survive the year in North America. I wouldn't be surprised if they got out of the car business all together as they are not really a "car" company.

Mitsubishi is a giant conglomerate corporation. They made fighter aircraft during WWII, many of which the US pilots shot down. They also make Three Diamonds tuna fish. In fact, I believe that the word "Mitsubishi" is Japanese for "Three Diamonds." I would guess that it is a long trip from tuna fish to sports cars and fighter aircraft.
