Default Worried about adjusting rear view mirrors

Hi. I was adjusting both side rear view mirrors this morning to eliminate blind spots. When I did this, I found that my left side rear view mirror was out all the way and wouldn't go out any further. Has anyone found this to be true for them also?

I'm also a little worried that adjusting it out all the way and continuing to try to push it out further to see if it was really out all the way was damaging to the mechanism. Do you think this is true?

I must say that was a very encouraging response. Thank you.

Same thing for now, get the muz convex driver side mirror. It will eliminate the blind spot and you wont have to turn your mirror all the way out.

just what i was gonna post...
i have the muz mirror- no blind spots, but mine is also adjusted almost all the way out too.

the muz mirror is the passenger side mirror on right hand drive cars- so both of my mirrors are like the passenger side mirror on our cars

My mirrors are adjusted all the way out too... assume we're all tall drivers, with seats adjusted far back, and mirrors adjusted to prevent/reduce blind spots.
