Let's be sure that everyone understands the conditions we are talking about here. The conditions that we ran in at VIR were mostly just wet and barely shiny, with just a few spots of standing water. It rained lightly almost the whole weekend. Perfect wet conditions in my book. If it had rained heavily, I would have parked my S2k with its bald ass tires. In fact I encountered some heavy rain during my drive to the track and was skating around at 45 mph!

I agree with Mikey that full tread S02s are decent rain tires.

Any treadless tire is a handfull in standing water (duh).
