I just got the rims back on the car late tonight. I'll post some pics this weekend. They came pretty good. The rear wheel is almost as good as new. About 99% of the scrape was buffed out and the shine of the dish is still fine. However the front rim no longer has any jagged grooves, but there seems to be a fairly visible scuff mark that runs the length of where the scrape was. I am probably the only one who will ever notice it, and in most light its hard to see. In fact, I'm wondering if my camera will even pick it up. I'd say the scrape is about 75-80% removed to my satisfaction on that wheel.
I think that the issue with the front wheel is perhaps my fault. This was the rim that I used fine grade sandpaper on to see if I could smooth out the scrape. I'm thinking I did some damage to the dish that was very difficult to remove because the rear wheel that I left alone is almost perfect after repair and it looked no worst than the front wheel did. Oh well, you live and learn.

Alright, here's some pics. All of these are of the front wheel which is really the only one that you can still notice any damage on. The very last pic is the rear wheel. The light on it was bad when I took the pic so it's hard to see anything, but that's also because the wheel is pretty much like it was before the scrape.
You'll notice the wavy line that looks like a dull line on the bend of the rim near the bottom. It's not super noticeable, but imperfections bother me. Oh well. I think the did pretty good work for a total of $86 for both wheels. I wish I took before photos. But you all know what a curb scrape looks like.
And yes I know, My camera takes crappy pics. But you can at least get the idea.

Oh yeah, considering how bad rim scrapes look to begin with, this is 100% better. It almost just looks like dust or the way light bends on the rim rather than a scratch so I'm happy with it.
