OK, you caught me. I "own" one, too, but my hubby forked out the $$$. I was planning to buy one but not until later this year - I've always been the one with the S2000 obsession. So far, we've been about equal driving it (it's the "weekend" car) although he found out I'd been joyriding on the Tuesdays and Thursdays I work at home ... BUSTED!

When I was married, my x-wife "owned" everything... I guess it depends on who is the dominant one in the relationship (who wears the pants?). Let's just say that I'm going to be slightly more careful about who the next future/former Mrs. is going to be... I mean, I've got my S2000 to think about and I'm sure as hell not going to expose the S to every girl that comes along!!!

In our house, it was just who had the successful IPO, and it wasn't mine ...

Ahh, see my wife was (and this is the wrong word) an excuse to buy it. She's the only one who can practically drive it. I commute 88 miles a day in NE weather, so it's a weekend car. Funny, my son is the one obsessed with it. Being 16 just getting his liscence, learning how to drive a stick on an S2000 isn't a bad deal. Good kid though, learned from the best.... that's not to say i'm a pro, but i'm dad The wife doens't particularly like the car, might appeal to her more with the hardtop off and the top down. But the Boy's in the house love it.

My daughter (23 yr old) doesn't own it but since she has the shortest commute she drives it the most. She also gets the most attention, naturally. How much would YOU look at a fat old guy (me) driving a cool car?? She is a hostess in the evenings at a nice restaurant and some nights she gets more inquiries than she would actually like....but she digs it.
