Default wobbly mirrors?

anybody else have wobbly mirrors on their s2k? I have a MY02 and if I take the edge of the mirror I can wiggle the mirror back and forth significantly. It feels loose. This drives me nuts when driving down the freeway at night cause all reflections are now bouncing.

I took it to the dealer and they told me they are ordering me NEW replacement mirrors!!!

anybody else experience or seen this?

Mine are like that but it never really bothered me all that much. I wonder what's up with that?

Probably one of the nuts that holds it on is coming loose. If you really want to fix it, look at the FAQ thread in under the hood. Seung wrote a how to for replacing the mirrors that will describe how to access the back of the unit. It's really pretty easy.

The actual mirror is only held on by a few clips and some goo. Maybe one of the clips has broken or come loose? Have you tried pressing on it to see if you can pop it back in?

it isn't the actual mirror but the entire housing
