Thumbs up Wipers have a mind of it's own, won't go off!

I'm guessing not many people have this problem but just took the car out for a spin today and the wiper's won't turn off!

All the positions work normally but.........when I put it in the off position, it keeps going on like I had it in the intermittent position? Any ideas?

Right now I just pulled the 20amp fuse as it's driving me nuts

advice?

Switch in fusebox? you mean a relay? The relay could be shorting... Maybe its the switch itself (the turn signal stalk on the steering wheel..)

The obvious answer is, your car is a transformer. Its a robot in disguise.
(Better transformer than the Pontiac Solstice )

Well I found out the 20amp fuse for the windshield wipers also controls the power windows! grrrr

So I'll have to get this fixed ASAP
