I've always figured activating the top with frozen moisture (wet below say 35F) was not good for the material.

On my 2002 I drove with snows (Blizzaks) through 4 winters. Too many scary commues with that setup!

Now that I have the Ridgeline as an option, the 2007 S will be stored after approx Thanksgiving time. As for top-down...unless it's skin numbing cold or raining, top's always down. Nothing better than a brisk mid-Oct road trip through the colored, hilly forests of Wisconsin.

If it's above 32 the top is down.

turn up the heater to warm the cab/plastic window before you put it down.
it breaks because it's obviously brittle from the cold. if you warm it up, close all vents except the center and point it directly to the plastic window, it'll soften up to reduce chances of it cracking.

My temp range is about 50F-95F Anytime I'm outside that range, I put the top up. But for those driving with the top down at 20F, are you wearing a parka, ski mask and a canadian toque?
I just wear a leather jacket, leather gloves, and crank the heat up. Works fine.

Here in Montreal if it's above 5 degrees C my top is down and the heater is blasted!

No wonder I get more colds per year since I have my S2000...

Friend of mine got me a nice H toque (sorry, that's Canadian for winter hat) so I can ride around sporting the Honda logo in style both on my head and my car.
F- for me..

I had to reread that... for a second I thought you said Honda and torque in the same sentence and I knew that couldn't be right

See you in April brutha (we can make another trip to the Dragon )... Tell your neighbor Santa to drop you off... he's got the frequent flyer mileage to get you here

haha no no. Good thing you aren't movin up here, you wouldn't understand the lingo Throw in an easterner's accent and you'd be done.

Count me in buddy! I don't think I'll be up for the ridiculous road trip unless I've captured a hot girlfriend to make the ride with me, but a flight will be planned as a backup. JUST in case the first plan doesn't work out
