winter storage
I am about to put my s2k away for the winter. For the last 5 years or so I have always put the car on jackstands, however the place I am storing the car in the garage now is pretty cramped and difficult to get on the sides to jack it up. I was able to jack it up in this space last year but I was defiantly concerned about dropping the car or it going up or down wrong and hitting the wall.
My question is is it ok to just leave the car on the ground without jacking it up? I am just very concerned about accidentally damaging the car.

This will be the 15th year I'm storing my S for the winter. I have never put the car on jacks. My car has not had any issues except for flat spots on the tires. The flat spots round out after a short drive.

It's not a good idea to leave the car jacked up regardless, so leave it on the ground.
Just inflate your tires up to 45-50PSI, or get a spare set of cheap wheels to have the car parked on.

^ Yes just as Fernando listed, the car is better on the ground. I put some foam pads under each tire, the kind people use for children's play rooms.

Alright thanks guys.
I just put it in my storage space. Used some fuel stable, put cover on, took batter out, threw some dryer sheets inside and called it a day.

I will throw my 2 cents in as I have left cars for 10 months at a time for cruise/deployments.
If you have a battery minder you can leave the battery in the car, top off the electrolyte if needed. Don't worry about jack stands. Have the top up not down. Wipe down the dash and vinyl with a high quality protectant, NOT Armour All. Wipe down the seats with a high quality leather treatment. Lub the seals with a high quality silicone grease like 3M or Shin Etsu. You said you were using a Sta Bil or Sea Foam type fuel extender, top the gas tank off to the top. Do not set the parking brake. Make sure the cover, if you are going to use one, is dry, clean and the car is washed and waxed. May want to stuff something in air intake and other rodent prone areas. Check one last time for debris, trash, and that banana you did not eat that is under the seat.
Move to the west for better weather and you won't have to store it for the winter!
