I'm from northeast Arkansas. We went to St Louis to do some Christmas shopping. On the way back I was getting tired and told my wife we should put the top back to wake us up. She can't stand the cold. We stopped in at the mall at Cape Girardeau and picked up some "winter gear". People were looking at us like we just escaped from the looney bin LOL!!! Here's some pics I thought I'd share. This is my 4th Honda and 1st convertible. I've wanted an S2000 since 2000 and finally able to get one and enjoying every minute of it!!

Great idea to put the top down at night. I personally love driving top down (cold or not) at night because it definitely gives a different sheer of excitement, especially when you're in a populated city.

 

NICE, i like to drive top down. my rule is if its above 20 degrees, ill go top down if im feeling it. but my girlfriend absolutely hates it lol. she gets cold easily! but hat gloves and scarf....top down all day!

 

I've never seen a toboggan with a mowhawk on it. I thought, "people are already staring at us...why not" LOL. If I can keep her warm, the top stays down hahaha. She loves it as long as she's comfortable. It was only 40 degrees. So not too bad.

 

That's what I like about my wife, if its not raining the top(the cars top) is down(her rule).
I get colder in the fog than I do when its clear and in the upper 20's.

I guess we're spoiled over here in SoCal but nothing makes me happier the driving home on a summer night where it's 70 degrees out and dropping the top. I blast my music and just relax. Such a good feeling

The top material gets very stiff when it's cold. I had a small rip in my top last year (had it for a while), then when 35 degrees outside I put the top down and that rip spread from 1" to 3" - making it VERY difficult to repair.

Just something to think about.

I personally prefer 50F and higher when riding with the top down.

 

LOL, nice pics! The top down when it's cold (which is pretty rare in the deep south) doesn't bother me at all. When I had a motorcycle I would ride to work when it was 20 degrees and people were looking at me like I was insane. What I don't enjoy is riding with the top down when it is 100+ degrees and humid (which is most of the summer around here).
