Winter Driving
Just trying to decide if I should drive the s2000(when I get it) in the winter/snow..
live in toronto Canada so weather is pretty harsh..
Will driving in thw winter damage the car in any way? If I do decide to drive during the winter what would I have to do to maintain the S in best conditions etc...
Any suggestion?... Thanks!

I just throw on some snow tire and it's good to go. They don't salt the roads here in Oregon but they do cover roads with small gravel bits. I just hose off the snow/sludge before parking her in the garage. Main problem for me is clearance with car only inches off the ground a foot of heavy snow can be problematic

Mine is my DD and I'll be using it through the northeast winter. I just bought AP1 wheels for my cold setup. Planning on Blizzak WS60s soon. First time RWD in snow for me.
But it was either use it year-round or don't buy it so here we go...

I wouldn't might as well invest that $500-700 you would spend on snow tires and get a cheap beater for the snow...salt puts a beating on cars around here
I’ve made it through many winters here with rwd cars and it’s really not that bad.
So do I want to spend $ on winter wheels and tires or spend $ on a winter beater?
Do I really want to subject my s2k to the abuse a car takes in the aftermath of a snowfall?
Currently leaning towards a beater.

Im also in the same position.
I even bought another set of Ap1 wheels to put snow tires on. Now i have 3 sets of rims man...
But it gets pretty bad in Colorado.
Im also leaning towards beater, although ive talked to many people who daily their S with Blizzaks and do fine.
