Hardtop, heated seats, snow tires, aftermarket traction control.

Still can't clear a few inches of snow without scraping, though.

Mine goes in the garage for the winter at the first snow. It will not come out until we get a good rain in the spring. Up here in MN they use TONS of salt on the roads. 2 winters in MN will rust most any car. May not rust the fenders right away but suspension and and other parts under the car take a hit. It does kill me to see it just sitting there though. I have been thinking of replacing my Audi A6 Avant with a WRX wagon for a winter car.

To OP: Yah I hear you I stare at mine almost everyday and want to take it for a rip but we have gotten actual snow this december and with that comes salt lots of salt enough to make the roads and parking lots white with salt when there not covered in snow.

I don't care what anybody says it has been proven in many studies that salt is the no 1 thing that causes rust. There is very few cars on the road here that are older then 10 years during the winter. Anything that is daily driven and is older then 10 years is already in the junkyard and the few that aren't are rusted all to heck.

All the classic and nice stuff is stored for the winter. Driven in the Spring,Summer and Fall.

LOL, I'll be in Chicago next week. Though I love the place, and our families are there, I'm not looking forward to a 40 degree change from Virginia Beach.
