Default Windshield Tape!!!!
Can someone plz post like pics or explain to me what the "windshield tape" is on the S2000... thanks alot..

It's black vinyl tape on the windshield frame.

DO a search on "windshield tape" and you will find pics and info on what it's all about.

I'll save you the trouble finding pics drew something up that should explain very clearly.

It's what ninegrand said, USDM S's have it, non USDM (not sure if all non US) S's don't have the tape.

pmatis, according to your pics removing a windshield also gives you a cf hood rear wing and a front lip j/k

How much weight reduction is it?

Seriously, that looks so much better with the hardtop and without the tape.

is there a special reason why USDM s2000's get the windshield tape and others don't?
