Windsheild Decals??????????

If you post messages on this board, you can damn well expect all kinds of comments, good and bad, positive and negative. That's the whole idea, isn't it? We should applaud and encourage it, because out of the dialogue we all learn something about each other.
Good taste is nothing more than what community and cultural standards accept as good. But no one is forced to conform to those standards. So if ace039 wants to put stickers on his windsheild, great. That doesn't mean that the rest of us should withhold our opinions.
A lot of people, I'm sure, think our S badges are out of bounds and have said so. I'm not offended by that or even the least bit troubled, because by their own standards, they're right.

well let's see here......on the ass end of my car i have a pair of chinese characters.".naru"-[thunder,loosely] and "kame" [god or deity]...together ,in an ancient japanese script they identify the name of a 16th century kabuki play.[.you know ,the one where the god of thunder gets pissed off at the local villagers and holds back the rain..they send in a hottie who tricks the god into revealing where he hides the thunderbolts and for his weakness is transformed into a half human/half god...that narukame..]...it was hand painted on the trunklid by a local calligrapher...hmmm ...so how fu*cking tasteful is that????i'm sure to most people it looks like a 20 hp speedshop decal....but as in all art the demon[sorry] is in the details.....

Hmmm, there's a knob sock joke in here somewhere . All kidding aside, looking forward to meeting you in person sometime this summer, Rick. I'd love to discuss the idea of community standards vs. personal taste.
