Window wind noise from hardtop
Whenever my hardtop is on, I have this really loud wind noise coming from the back of the driver side window.
Somebody once mentioned that you have to adjust/angle the window to fix this problem. Anybody have any experienc with this? This seems pretty extreme and a bit more work then I feel should be required, afterall the hardtop is a new one from Honda.

The hardtop trim is adjustable. The adjustment procedure is outlined in the directions that came with it and also in the shop manual. You can download directions from H&A accessories if you need them. "handaccesories.com"

Hello,
Try this: take a drop light and while you are outside the car, have someone hold it pointing towards the wind noise.
You will see light through any gaps where the HT meets the body.
On my HT there was at least 3/8" vertical gap from the beginning of the HT "B" pillar (where the rear locking levers are located) that continued on for about 3 inches towards the rear.
At anything over 60 and the wind sounded like a jet.
I purchased a roll of outdoor 1/2" X 1" close cell foam with a adhesive side at the local hardware store. Cut a strip for both sides-stuck it in place and my wind noise was gone.
There is a procedure to adjust the gap at the rear of the HT, it involves removing the B pillar trim, loosening the three locking lever bolts(on each side) and playing with the adjustment until it's just right; then putting everything back together.
I found it impossible for my big American butt to maneuver back there; the ghetto solution with the sticky foam works for me.
Regards,
BD
