have anyone tried DIY tint ...
wana tint the S ..

any brands anyone recommend... etc..

I did, it was a brand from Checkers auto parts. Came out great 'til the cops gave me a warning, since then I'd took it off and been looking for a lesser/darker film. State required 50% tint, had on 20% .

from what i've read, its not easy. if you dont mind the drive, there is a really cheap/good tint shop in s. california. 35 for two windows. they give you lifetime warranty as long as you have your reciept.

Tinting the side windows is extremely easy. I just used whatever is at the autoparts store. I haven't tried the back window.

Just did the side windows with 5% limo tint. I love it. It's kinda hard to get the cut just right near the front corner of the window, but with patience, you can have professional results. Just remember to keep your window and the sticky side of the tint wet with soapy water until you have everything exactly where you want it, and squeegied on good and tight...air bubbles are bad
