Window Tint?
for some strange reason my search button won't work. i'm getting window tinting done at the moment and when i dropped it off the guy said its tough to get to the back window. my question is how did your installers get to the back window and are there going to be any problems down the line? Their using Solar Gard as the film and i'm sticking with what i had on IS which was a 30-32% film. i didn't want it to dark so it's tough seeing at night with the top up.

The rear is a royal pain in the ass. My installer basically had to kneel on one of the seets and reach back the whole time. It would help them out if you removed your rear windscreen. You just need a phillips screwdriver. Luckily it's small and relatively flat so no crazy smoothing.

My tint guy had no issues getting my rear done. He simply folded down the aeroscreen and got back there to do his thing. I covered the seats with towels to protect from potential scuff marks in the event he slipped.

My tint guy opened the top half way. I had issues with the side windows. He usually goes up as high as possible on the sides windows, but it kept peeling so I ended up with a small gap.

even though you got it back I wanted to reply on my tint job. Before I brought it in to them I had the passenger seat removed and door panels removed so it was a ton easier for them. The seat removed was aimed more at not wrinkling/damaging my leather rather than easy accessibility, but it worked out great for him.
