Window Regulator Replacement Pictures
I took my car in today for the driver's side window regulator replacement. The "Auto" express down no longer worked. Anyway, they replaced the whole regulator. The job was scheduled for 0.9 shop hours, but it took way longer than that.
The pictures are not to detailed, but the requirements are to remove the door panel. A couple of screws, and pop it off.
Next, remove the plastic lining from the door (lots of goopy stuff to seal it)
Then remove the hardware
Old Regulator
New Regulator
The service guy was super carefull, took his time and explained everything to me... I was impressed!

i ask b/c if it wasn't re-applied, your door will rattle like ball bearings in a glass jar (it's VERY annoying to say the least).
i know you JUST had it done, so it may not be rattling, but once everything re-settles, it'l drive you f*cking crazy!!!!!
i know....it's happened to me - TWICE!!!

Opps, lost track of this thread..
No, the service guy did not re-apply to goop.. not sure why things would rattle if they didn't because I was told it was just a seal... He rubbed along the goopy stuff to make the seal again. Anyway, I have not driven the car since this was done.
I did ask about the regulator, if it was the same one or a new upgraded one. The guy said it was a different part number, and he thought there were upgrades to the new reg. This is covered under the 3/60 warranty anyways
