Depends on how big the hail is, but yes. Aluminum I think.

yes, they will. They're made of Aluminum, and will ding pretty easy! Get her inside! I'm up in Richardson, and watching the radar carefully...

Cool, thanks. It might hail here in the D/FW area. I didn't know whether to leave it outside or put the S inside the shop (fake oil change ticket )

that's a great question...yeah its aluminum...

...I get hail only a couple times a year here so hopefully it'll be during a time where the S is inside and safe

O.K., the car is safe. Hey, since the hood is made of aluminun, what are the benefits of going to carbon fiber anyway? (besides looks)

none to speak of unless you are trying to reduce weight and have already gutted the interior and have nothing left to sacrifice.

I figure it can't be too much weight savings, but I guess if you are trying to get every last ounce, it helps.
