Will the 4.56 gear be "too extreme" for my wife?

Default Will the 4.56 gear be "too extreme" for my wife?

I've never modded a car before. But I'm thinking about the 4.56 gear change. Right now I'm driving the car 99% of the time, but in a few years my wife may take over the S when I get a better car.

My question is will the gear change make the car too hard edged or exterme? My wife just drives the car she's not too interested in performance.

I want to hear what you consider a better car.

I knew this was a bad idea. I'm thinking of the GT3 or the new NSX (if ever) or the Boxster Coupe (rumored) or the RX-7 (rumored) or the C6 Z06. Basically I'd like the S2000 better if it were a coupe. I'll keep the S around for use on "perfect" spring days.

Gears were the BEST mod I made to my car. I think you'll be happy as it retains stock reliability of the motor while giving the car added thrust.

My girlfriend, who also has an S, drove mine with 4.44 and liked it. I don't think the 4.56 would be that much different, so I say go for it. Absolutely the best mod for a NA engine.
