Get a turbo first. That will help keep that 3" quiet.

The HKS 75mm single is pretty humble for a 3" (or ok 1mm less than 3") from my understanding. I hear that megan is god awfully loud and not in a good way.

i was going to get a 3 inch
but got a 2.5 inch cause 3 inch is for when you have turbos.

its too big for our little 4 bangers.
stick with a 2.5 if you can. at lest i would.

i got invdia and OMG that ni%$#! is loud but it sounds nice lol

every exhaust system is different, it all depends on how much it is baffled with resonators/mufflers.

you can put a factory muffler with a few resonators in line on 3" piping and have it more quiet than stock.

Are you serious? Its been dyno proven that a 3" exhaust makes power over a 63mm or even a 70mm on an NA s2000. Everything after the collector is just a restriction believe it or not. People saying 3" exhausts are to big on an NA either just heard all of the myths, and havent dyno'ed it themselves.

To the OP, I would get the HKS 75mm single if I were you. They say it doesnt drone at all, it sounds nice, and it looks nice with the titanium tip.

Most of those larger singles are insanely loud NA and in a very bad way imo. I guess some people like that but god it sounds bad to me!
HKS single might be better as I have heard some good things about it. But those Megan and Invidia ones are horrid!
